This was certainly an interesting project, that turned out better than I had thought or even intended it to. I could go through the long story process, but I don't much feel like it at the moment. Basically, I have ideas as to what this could represent, but I'd rather not say anything. People can interpret it for themselves, and think about it for a while. There are probably a bunch of ways to look at it.
A weird part of the experience was setting it up in the lobby of the art center. All the little kids kept oo-ing and ahh-ing and complimenting it and it all made me very uncomfortable because I suck at real-life compliments, especially when it comes to art. Needless to say, I guess it was interesting.
This thing too me way too long, so don't ask.
The image is large, because I couldn't get the detail to work any other way. Suck it up.
The chair is a motif for my AP portfolio, which is doubtfully going to be finished at my rate of working.
I don't.. even know what to say to you anymore. This is incredible. I was telling Megan about it at school today and I was all excited.
Hm, it's like the tree is taking back back the maimed body of its ancestor, releasing that ancestor from its lifetime of servitude to mankind.
This is really cool. I can't take compliments in real life either, and I hate it when people STAY there after saying something to look at it some more. But this is really cool. Do you like making 3-dimensional art like this a lot? It must've taken a long time.

Dude, I should've guessed that it was you who made that thing...I love looking at it every time I walk into that building, seriously. I absolutely love the tree and how the piece is so serene...Really nice work, Mia.
